Cabin Fever

Today is the start of my third week in quarantine (for the rest of the country, it’s just their second week). I’m starting to get the hang of working from home: I wake up at exactly the same time as my shift and scram at the exact moment my shift ends.

Have I accomplished anything yet?

At work, yeah, i managed to finish some long standing tasks. As for personal goals and tasks, nada. I’ve downloaded a book 4 days ago (A Wild Sheep Chase) but I’m not even a quarter done.

My sleep schedule is messed up. Because of social distancing, no one is allowed to get out of the house—that means no jogging for me. Jogging and going to the gym is my main energy outlet. I often end the day with 80% energy, making it extremely hard to sleep.

I tried studying Blender (3D rendering application). I saw a good tutorial on youtube. I’m stuck on lesson 2 because one of the steps doesn’t seem to work the same way on a mac. I still haven’t figured out how to make it work on mac os.

I set up a hammock behind our house. Hopefully I can finish reading a book there.
